We have been to Char many times and have never been disappointed.  The staff is friendly and great.  The food is fresh and delicious.  Compliments to the chef (Anthony) and his kitchen, looking forward to the next Hudson Valley Restaurant Week!!!  Continue to be the best!!!

Char is delicious! We rarely sit at the tables to dine, unless it's a special occasion- normally we sit at the bar and order there. we love ordering a ton of appetizers and drinks. we've never had anything we didn't love!

I've been going to char for about a year now. Not ONE time have I ever been disappointed or not 100% happy with the environment, the food, beer & wine choices, servers, and busters. The servers there are very good at their job. I have a family member who has been working there for a while and she is awesome! Ask for Jessica! And if you don't get her... No worries because everyone else is great too!!

Hadn't been here since November, but when we arrived January 24, Shannon greeted us as if she had seen us yesterday! Once again, we were a group of 6 with an infant. The staff made us feel SO welcome and cared for all our needs.
The food was fantastic and service was outstanding!
I HIGHLY recommend a visit to Char for a total dining experience!

We've been here several times and each time has been fantastic!
The wait staff is very good, drinks are tasty (get the martini with bacon wrapped olives) and food arrives promptly.
Great stop for a special occasion, quiet dinner or just a few drinks at the bar. Keep up the good work guys!

So glad Char came to our neighborhood, we definitely needed a nice place in the area! Been there more times than I can count.  I've had porterhouse, lobster ravioli, soft shell crabs, and salmon to name a few of the delicious meals there!  Never disappointed.  Hope they are around for a looooonnnggg time!!

Just ate at Char Steakhouse and the chef Anthony made my husband an outrageous steak.  Great people and great atmosphere Can’t wait to go back!!!!

We've eaten here twice and had good experiences both times.

The first time it was just two of us, and we treated ourselves to extra-expensive dishes and I felt it was definitely worthwhile. The second time we went with another couple, and the food, drinks and dessert were all very good.

The service is excellent - attentive without being intrusive.
Best part is the not-fancy yet not-casual atmosphere that allows you to enjoy a great meal of really good food while wearing comfortable clothes and sitting in a booth.

Personally I also appreciate that it's right off the highway, easy to get to, plenty of parking.
